Buying the work
Are your prints made to order?
Yes. Craft Art Prints produces each order for the customer rather than pulling prints from mass inventory. We handle professional production, inspection, packing and fulfillment from Scottsdale.
What print formats are available?
Available formats are shown on each artwork page. Depending on the piece, the catalog includes fine art paper prints and gallery-wrapped canvas in the sizes offered for that artwork.
Are all prints signed by the artist?
No. Signing depends on the individual artwork or edition. When a piece is artist-signed, that information is part of the listing and the extra signing step can add production time.
Can I save artwork and come back to it later?
Yes. Use the heart/wishlist controls on the site to save pieces to your account.
After you order
How long does production take?
Typical production time is 10–15 business days before shipping. Artist-signed work may take longer because the print has to be signed before it can leave.
How will my order ship?
Standard and expedited orders ship by UPS or USPS. Carrier transit time begins after production is complete.
Can I pick up my order locally?
Yes. Phoenix-area pickup is available. We will contact you when the order is ready.
What happens with oversized or high-value artwork?
Large pieces can cost several hundred dollars to ship. If a piece is oversized or over $1,000 retail, we will contact you with a separate shipping quote. That shipping charge is in addition to the cost of the print.
What if my artwork arrives damaged?
Contact us promptly and keep the artwork and all packaging. Include your order number and, when possible, photos of the artwork, packaging and shipping label. Craft Art Prints provides a No Damage Guarantee and will arrange a replacement for artwork that arrives damaged.
Do you offer refunds?
Our current Terms & Conditions state that refunds are not offered. If there is a production problem or damage, contact us promptly so we can address it. Damaged artwork is handled through the No Damage Guarantee replacement process.
Selling through Craft Art Prints
Can any artist open a storefront?
Craft Art Prints is not an open-upload marketplace. We work selectively with artists when the work, print-production relationship and fulfillment model are a good fit. For now, the best way to start is to call (480) 663-3313 or email .
Do I need to print with Craft Giclée first?
Artists already printing with Craft Giclée are the most natural fit because the reproduction file and production workflow are already established. In all cases, we strongly recommend approving a physical proof before an image is listed for sale.
Why do you recommend a physical proof?
A proof lets the artist see the real paper or canvas, color, density, detail and surface rather than relying on a monitor. It also gives us an approved reference for consistent future production.
How does the artist split work?
The standard eligible-merchandise split is 60% to the artist and 40% to Craft Art Prints. Shipping charges and sales tax are separate from that merchandise split.
What does Craft Art Prints handle for artists?
We handle the storefront administration, payment processing, routine customer communication, print-production coordination, inspection, packing, fulfillment and artist accounting behind each eligible sale.
