This started long before the website.
We have spent years working with artwork, artists, framing and fine-art printing. Craft Art Prints grew out of that experience.
Art and printing kept leading to the next thing.
Printing was part of the background early on. A small gallery in Denver, Studio 1818, added another side of it: living with artwork, showing it and working directly with artists.
Eric and Lynn opened Image & Frame in the back of Inkslinger’s Inc. in Tempe, Arizona.
Fine-art reproduction grew alongside the framing work and became part of the day-to-day business.
Artists kept running into the same problem: making a good print was only part of the job. Selling it meant building a storefront, taking payments, answering customers, packing orders and shipping them.
The next step was making the selling part easier.
Craft Art Prints gives artists a place to sell prints without having to run the whole retail operation themselves. We handle the storefront, printing, payment, customer service, packing and fulfillment around each sale.
Framing, fine-art printing and Craft Art Prints all grew from the same thing: knowing the work, knowing the materials and taking the finished piece seriously.
